I fell in love with South Indian cuisine when I traveled throughout India after college. I had the wonderful fortune of working for cookbook author Maya Kaimal in the start-up phase of her specialty food business and went back to India twice to study South Indian cuisine with the best of the best...Indian mothers!
I founded Sadya Snacks and sold dosa, Indian street food and Chaat at the Cornell Farmers Market and the legendary Ithaca Farmers Market. I teach cooking classes online and in person - most recently for staff at Cornell, and have hosted pop-up dinners in Baltimore and Ithaca. I currently split my time between Ithaca and NYC.
